Robert is a retired Massachusetts judge and is currently the president of the Fan S. Noli Library and Cultural Center. His parents were from Worcester and Korce.
Bujar was born on January 27, 1969 in Patos, Albania. He studied painting and stage directing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana. In 1992 he immigrated to Greece, where he worked as an assistant director on several Greek films. In 2002, he directed his first short film. AMNESTY (2011) is his debut feature film and won the C.I.C.A.E. Award in the Forum section of the 2011 Berlinale. His second film, CHROMIUM (2015), a co-production between Albanian, Kosovo, Germany and Greece, was screened in many festivals around the world. His film THE DELEGATION (2018) won Grand Prix at Warsaw IFF. He lives and works in New York, USA.
Enkelejda (Kela) Klosi is an architect and alumni of Northeastern University, born in Lushnje, Albania. Kela has been active in her civic and artistic life in her hometown and the Albanian-American community of Greater Boston since 1997.

Kristo lives in a village on gorgeous Lake Prespa, divided by the borders of Albania, Macedonia and Greece. The proud owner of a small fishing boat, he takes advantage of the lake’s location to support his family by becoming a drug smuggler. Using his knowledge of the lake, he transports drugs from Albania to Macedonia. Kristo idolizes the two male drug dealers he works, but he begins to question his life choices and makes a fateful decision. When the fishing community believes he is responsible for the events that ensue, Kristo takes matters into his own hands. My Lake depicts a society where making money, even by illegal means, is a way to achieve certain status or "manhood".

Besnik, a lonely shepherd and devoted Muslim is the son of a Catholic mother and formerly Communist father whom he takes care of in an Albanian mountain village, where Christians and Muslims co-exist peacefully. Even after the discovery that the old mosque used to be a church and that the building was actually shared by the two religions in the past, the calm of daily life is preserved - with Besnik's help. After the death of his father, however, drastic changes threaten Besnik's multi-faith family and he is forced to seek his own path.

Flora, a journalist in a Western country, comes to her homeland to trace the early life/identity of Mother Teresa or Anjeza Gonxhe Bojaxhiu, to produce a documentary. She accidentally follows in the footsteps of her family, which carries a sad and tragic story in the years of communist persecution.

The story of a young mother, Emily, who is in an abusive relationship and faced with making difficult decisions about how to protect herself and young son. When her husband is imprisoned after a violent attack on her, Emily and her mother-in-law seek solace in one another’s stories, however when Emily tries to take custody of her son and leave the country, her mother-in-law becomes torn between protecting her and salvaging a future for her son.

Identical deaf-mute twin brothers discover they suffer from a genetic disease that will also progressively and irreversibly make them blind. The film is a powerful and emotional story about brotherhood and facing and overcoming adversity together.

In a traditional village where life is gradually being rebuilt, schoolteacher Lushe is driven by her conscience to give an interview to an international journalist. During the interview, Lushe admits that she and three other women from the village were raped by Serbian soldiers. When the men from the village find out that it was Lushe who spoke to the journalist, they start a hate campaign against her and her little boy.

The Violinist, dedicated to childhood innocence, captures the poignant moments when Saimir Bajo, the director, realized his passion for music. His childhood comes to life among the stone houses of Gjirokastra. This artistic film, grounded in personal memories, conveys a broader message as stated by Saimir Bajo, “…that one might lose a love or a dream, but this should not lead to tragedy, rather it should inspire a new love and dream.”

One Love takes place in a nursing home in a city in Albania. Almost every night, the central character makes an attempt to "escape" with a suitcase in his hand and a bouquet of flowers. Each time his plan fails and he returns among his friends in the rooms and corridors of the institution. One evening, though, he manages to leave and his feet lead him to the address where he expects to find his lost love.

Planting of the Trees depicts one of the darkest sides of the communist regime in Albania - the unexplored crimes of that system. It is a retrospective that brings a somewhat forgotten and unknown reality to the younger generations. It tells the story of a young man whose life ended incomprehensibly. It is the story of a regime that disfigured human nature or depressed it beyond reason. Every dictatorial regime has untold stories. This story is based on real events.

Sharing, a story from Kosovo, tells the story of Bora who uses her artistic talents to create beautiful postcards that she openly and lovingly shares with neighbors. As Bora shares her gifts, the film shares an experience of a person who has Down Syndrome and builds awareness that despite what people may inherit from birth, they are dedicated to living a life - that they too are part of our society, they too have feelings and should have be accepted without prejudice.

The Pig Taste tells a dramatic story of the day to day life of a small family with little resources and low income. A family, which, although found in difficult economic conditions, decides not to give up in the face of poverty. The humble Albanian family's struggle for survival takes a turn when their standard fishing day unfolds unexpectedly.

Kept Promise traces Albania’s largely unknown role in saving Jewish lives during the Holocaust. The Albanians’ cultural adherence to hospitality and “Besa”, or one’s promise or oath, helped save thousands of individuals who would have otherwise perished during the Holocaust. The story is told through the interviews of those whose families rescued Jewish families during WWII.

Another Day is a documentary about the lives of Besi and Rafael who travel through Italy for years with their mime and acrobatics act. They receive enthusiastic applause from audiences wherever they perform. Eventually though, their working relationship and friendship suffers due to disagreements over money and Rafael's new studies.

A documentary about the story of Lola Gjoka Aleksi, a concert pianist born in 1910 in Sevastopol, Crimea to an Albanian family. The family left Crimea in 1932 and settled in Korce, Albania. Gjoka began playing the piano at the age of six and went on to win awards for her musical talent. In 1951, Gjoka became a concertmaster at the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Albania.
